The club needs to replace our Skidoo Skandic that we use for grooming. If you or anyone you know has one of these machines that they are thinking of selling, please let us know!! ASAP. Ours went down in flames. For real, flames .
Does it have to be a Skandic?? It does or it needs to be another geared sled designed for low speed, high drag operations.
When it rains, it pours! Here is what happened…and Some of you may have already seen the grooming update, but to put it mildly, we are in a hot mess!
We have 3 Grooming Machines…
1. The Tucker. This machine went out of service last week due to an exhaust manifold failure.
2. The Tracker. It went down this week due to bearings and engine issues.
3. The Skandic. This suffered an engine compartment fire
We are now facing a total replacement on the Skandic!!
Parts have been ordered for the Tucker and the Tracker. We are trying to get these machines up and going as fast as possible!! Our dedicated groomer operators are working on them as I write this. Parts supply and availability is making this very difficult.
If there is anything you can do to help, it would be greatly appreciated. If you know of a Skandic 500 SWT or 550 SWT out there needing a home, please let us know!!
